Annual Herb and Fiber Arts Festival June 5 & 6 (11am - 5pm) Our 25th annual celebration of the "Good Earth" is going to be a tremendous show. Herb and other plant vendors…live and dried herba, plants, spices, flowers, earth-related craft and art work (bird houses, plant holders, etc.), as well as fiber-related arts and crafts, environmental-related items and how-to books. Admission: Free
Annual Soup Luncheon June 5 (starts at noon) Soup competition with soups from local restaurants and individuals. Hand-thrown stoneware bowl from New Salem Stoneware (that you get to keep). Homemade breads. Drink. All for $9.00. Get in line early and vote for your favorite soup.
Herbfest Sunday Picnic Luncheon June 6 (time TBA) Pulled pork sandwich, hot dogs, baked beans, cole slaw, chips, drinks. Individually priced. Pick and choose what you want. Packaged for here or to go.
Concerts June 6 (time TBA) Music by the Allegheny String Band. During their "break", enjoy the very talented Frances Edge, accompanied by Mary Brooks
French and Indian War Encampment Saturday June 13 and Sunday June 14 Highlights of this full two-day encampment include children's programs, woodland natives, cannon and musket firing demonstrations, and more. Take a walk back in time to view British, Colonial, French, and American Indian re-enactors as they portray lifestyles of the 18th century. Annual Woodcarving Show and Competition Saturday July 10 (11am - 5pm) and Sunday July 11 (11am - 4pm) Admission: Free to visit vendors; $1.00 per person to view show entries. Features vendors, contests, and demonstrations. Vote for the "People's Choice" Award.
Flower Show Saturday July 24 (11am - 5pm) and Sunday July 25 (11am - 4pm) Presented by the Wildflower Garden Club of Leeper, PA - Members of the Garden Federation of Pennsylvania, District 8. This year's theme: "Country Holidays"
